Barra do Cunhaú
No question that Barra do Cunhau is one of the best places that on the north east coast line of Brasil, an easy drive from Natal international airport and just a short 12k from the popular holiday destination of Pipa. Barra do Cunhau offer peace and tranquility and beauty that is just stunning with friendly locals that always give you a warm welcome it's easy to see what people are saying such good thing about this place.
To Find Barra do Cunhau just take the BR 101 South from Natal then when you reach Canguaretama you then take the RN 269 in total from Natal it is 88 Km and you are in the State of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil

Barra de Cunhau is a fabulous village, with great beaches and terrific weather - at all times! The people were all very friendly. The walks on the beach, to die for! Turtle sanctuary - no fast moving buggys to dodge. Driving in to town, you must take a balsa ( a ferry ) if you are coming in from the north - oh, so charming.
The resort - VIP Home of Casa da Estrela, located in the village, is where my wife and I stayed. The absolute luxury, combined with the community - our best and greatest vacation ever. I would reccomend the VIP home, or the village and a pousada, to anyone.
If you have the chance, go - you will not regret it.
